Today we worked for the final day script. We mutually
divided our roles. Everyone had to write their own script and we had to help
our friends. We learnt how to make our script independently. Our mentor guided us
constantly. It was very exciting to do it.

The French quote (by Tanay)
Today
we made our group banner for which we have used dry leaves. We thank our friend
Tirth Barot for bringing the dry leaves. We also finished our French
integration. We wrote a French quote which says that the land is not only of humans
it is of plants too which means we need to share the planet with plants and
other living things.
How many people are aware?(By Rishay)
Integration
as a part of our exhibition, we researched about how many people are aware
about their rights. Through research we collected the data and we will present
it in the form of a bar graph.
Table mat for sale!!!!! (By Arnav.S)
Today,
it was fun for taking action as this was a very interesting action as we
created the table mat and now if it is good it can be for sale!!! We are
enjoying this unit a lot as we are taking so much of actions in this unit and
almost all are essential to not only conserve the surroundings but also the
world.

Past, present, future! (by Arnav.S)
Today
we did 3 boxes indicating past, present and future. The past contains a lot of
animals, whereas present contains today’s animals and future contains only one
animal! Today is our fourth mentor meeting and today our target is lessened!
And now creating science lab and arranging the caption is left and then only
rehearsing the script will be left!
Integration! Integration! (By Tanay)
As
integration is part of our exhibition, we integrated with French. So we researched
quotes in French for our respective group. We even researched other things like
how do plants get exploited in France, in which place of France it happens, etc.
We will keep integrating like this as we believe in transdisciplinary learning.

Time for something new (by Arnav.s)
As an IB PYP learner we give equal importance to our mother tongue. Marathi being my mother tongue I wrote one slogan in Marathi for my group. The objective of the slogan is to spread awareness about negative human choices.

Oh! So many plants ( by Tanay)
We had gone to field trip
to Haryali which is located at Thane, Ghodbandar road. There we learnt to plant
saplings in small milk bags. As we say together we can and we will make a
difference so we made a difference by planting 275 saplings. We got some information on vermicomposting
also. And we’re again in the school and continuing our exhibition work. We promise
that we will follow each one, teach one, plant one.

A look towards the old age homes ( by Yash)
Today we visited “Sneha
old age home” located in Mira road. Our objective was to know the human choices
that affect other humans. There were only female senior citizens. After we
interacted we came to know the senior citizens were either abandoned by their husband
or children. At this age they only need our love, support and affection. We
tried our level best to give them happiness. We performed song and skit and
they even danced with us. We would thank Prastuth for arranging this trip
Exciting assessment time ( by Tanay)
Today’s
day was exciting as it was assessment time. But what was exciting? The exciting
thing in that was it was framed by our fellow friends. They had assessed our understanding
on the impact and human choices we make for plants, animals and humans. We used
different activities like:
Ø
frayers
model
Ø
letter
writing
Ø
T-chart
Ø
graffiti
wall
Ø
mind
map
We
enjoyed the formative.
